Ready to expand your lighting system?
Unhappy with the high prices on micro-plex, LMX and MUX-64 dimmer packs?
The
DMX-lator II
from
DMX-tools translates
the multiplex protocols of many of the various mic-cable interfaces
of the past to DMX-512, allowing you to expand your existing system
with new, lower-cost DMX-512 dimmer packs - using your existing
controller!
Just one DMX-lator II can translate up to 64 channels - enough for 16 four-channel dimmer packs!
The DMX-lator II is easy to install and use. Mount it, connect the cables and then...
...forget
it! Operation is completely transparent, and the DMX-lator
II is
designed to be the most reliable part of your lighting system.
Tested with controllers from NSI, Lightronics, James Lighting and Sunn and a variety of DMX-512 dimmer and relay packs.
Meets FCC requirements - will not interfere with PA or instrument amplifiers
2 Year manufacturer's limited warranty
Powered by existing micro-plex, LMX, MUX-64 or Sunn-plex dimmer packs
Available optional plug power-supply for installations without existing microplex, LMX, MUX-64 or Sunn-plex dimmer packs.

NOTE: Use with moving-light effects and color-changers, while not impossible, is not recommended. Because most older controllers were never intended for controlling anything other than dimmer and relay packs, the results are usually very disappointing. For moving-lights and color-changers, we recommend upgrading to a new DMX-512 controller with the DMX-lator I, also available here, to let it control your existing dimmer packs.
